Dog Visitors

Dogs are welcome to attend Edition Dog Live and throughout the day we will have lots of activities that you can take part in with your dog.

Our venue is set in 1,000 acres of land and there are plenty open green spaces for you to exercise your dog. You will be able to access these areas at any point during the event at ease.

Inside the venue your dog must be kept on a lead at all times however your dog is free to explore our event with you. We have a designated seating area inside our venue should you wish to sit and eat with your dog.

If your dog is thirsty we will have water and bowls available on the Edition Dog Magazine stand.

We will not be playing loud music inside our venue however the live arena will have a PA speaker system. If your dog is needing a time out they can visit our dog chill out zone which will be a quieter space.

Your dog's welfare is your responsibility throughout the show, and they must not be left unattended at any time.

Only well-socialised dogs (i.e. friendly towards other dogs and people, including children) should attend the event. The behaviour of your dog is YOUR responsibility. You know your dog and their temperament best, so please ensure they will be happy around many other dogs and people, including children. If your dog is fearful around other dogs or gets very stressed and anxious, it will likely not enjoy the day.

Dogs should be healthy and fit enough to participate in have-a-go activities. Enter them based on your knowledge of your dog, their fitness and veterinary history. Please follow any instructions you are given closely. Dogs should not be forced to interact or do anything they don't want to. Please ask a staff member for more details about any of the activities if you are unsure if they suit your dog.

Please consider the temperament of your dog before you decide to attend. The show is very busy with thousands of other dogs and people, and knowing your own dog(s), you should consider if this is an environment which they will enjoy.

We recommend that you read fully our dog welfare and event guidelines prior to bringing your dog with you. Read here
